How do I fit my CarSign?
Please see “Fitting” for more information. There you can find a detailed explanation of how to attach the licence plate holder. The guide is also included in your CarSign delivery.

How long does the fitting take?
The television reports "Galileo" and "Abenteuer Auto" concluded that it takes about 5-10 minutes – depending on your own abilities. Fitting is very simple, however, if you drive a car which makes it difficult to do, feel free to call us.

What should I do if the underlay with the prepared drilling holes does not fit on the existing holes on my car?
Please turn the underlay 180°, so that the text www.carsign.eu is turned upsidedown. This way, at least one of the pre-drilled holes sohuld fit.
Otherwise you could drill the holes yourself. This rarely happens, but in this case you could use template on the backside of the handbook.

How do I detach my licence plate bracket?
If you should like to detach your CarSign, please follow the following steps (take care of sharp edges and wear protective gloves if you please):

  1. Use both hands to hold the CarSign at the back of one of the short sides.
  2. Push both thumbs onto the licence plate and firmly pull the CarSign off of the licence plate, which will detach some of the clips.
  3. Keep switching between both sides until you can fully pull off the CarSign.


Please ensure that the clip system evenly detaches from the top and the bottom so that it does not distort.
